Stude pickup may be avalible in this area Call Brad Graber II (
775-882-3444) if you are really interested in restoring a Stude C-boddy truck. The  following is some details on the truck.

It is a 6 cylinder. There is very little rust, the fenders are pretty straight, there is a crease across the rear of the cab the grill work is not attached but I think all there I did not see a rediator but the man told me he had it. I think the truck was driven into the barn some years ago and this year , last fall, was pushed out into the yard. Just for referanc the tires are still aired up and I think I remember the class is all there. It’s a long bed and I suppose rated a ¾ ton with a long bed.

I found your email address on the silver sage web site and I’m writing to you in hope that you will be able to put me in touch with somebody who either needs a part that I have left over from my 53 hard top, which is nearing completion, or that you might know someone who has an extra emergency hood latch—the finger operated lever at the front which stops the hood from opening if the pull cable fails. I also need a glove box button/latch for a hawk—I think it’s a 62 or 63 and has the instrument section behind the steering wheel that has ‘wings’ instead of the flat panel.

I have an undamaged 53 hood—no trim or latch. a Power Hawk deck lid that I think is complete with the lock, latch, trim and hinges. a 53 valance for under the grille, but I think its dented where some body hit a curb or some thing. I have a complete rear end with brakes, etc. I haven’t checked out its condition because I decided to use one from a ford. yes, I’m afraid I’m one of those guys and my car is far from original. restoration people hate me. there are several more parts in the garage so if you know anybody who needs something please put them in touch with me.
